The impressive castle ruins is the most famous sightseeing location and emblem from Heidelberg. That's why it's on of the most well known sightseeing tours in the city. It's a must for foreigners traveling through Germany.
The castle is about 70 meters above the Neckar river. Electors and Kings lived here. In the time being they use some of the rooms for bankettes, balls and theaters.
